Job Description
C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.
Our client, a Global Stationery Company, seeks a Supply Chain Non-Executive Director (NED) / Independent Director (ID) who sits on the Board of Directors, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam or remote working, reports to the Group Chairman. This will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and governance expertise in supply chain management at the board level. This role is critical in ensuring effective risk management, compliance, and value creation while aligning with the company’s GLOCAL (Global-Local) strategies. The position requires deep expertise in global supply chains, procurement, logistics, and sustainability to help the company navigate the complexities of a dynamic international market.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight on global and regional supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and resilience.
- Ensure effective governance, risk management, and compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Advise on supplier diversification, procurement optimization, and cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Support the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles into the company’s supply chain.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation through AI, IoT, blockchain, and automation in supply chain processes.
- Assess and mitigate geopolitical, economic, and operational risks affecting the supply chain.
- Ensure supply chain strategies support business continuity, resilience, and sustainability.
- Act as a key advisor on the GLOCAL approach, balancing global efficiency with local adaptability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and the board to set long-term supply chain goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience (C-suite level preferred) in global supply chain, procurement, or operations.
- Proven expertise in risk mitigation, supplier management, and supply chain resilience.
- Prior experience as a Board Member or Advisory Board Member in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of supply chain digitalization and emerging technologies.
- Experience with ESG, sustainability, and ethical sourcing initiatives.
- Global mindset with the ability to implement GLOCAL strategies effectively.
