Job Description
C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.
We are seeking a Vice President of APAC Business Development for Animal Healthcare, a renowned Canadian company. This executive-level position will play a pivotal role in accelerating market growth and expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Sydney, Australia, the role reports directly to the Group CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth:
- Maximize market share and sales volume for AHP Cattle segment products across APAC channels.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and market share objectives.
- Identify and capture new market opportunities.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and market development strategies aligned with the business unit's vision.
- Translate business plans into actionable sales force objectives.
- Formulate and implement plans to expand market penetration.
Sales & Channel Management:
- Develop and manage high-performing sales channels and teams across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent sales practices and performance across all locations.
Product Development & Innovation:
- Gather market intelligence, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Provide valuable insights to the product development team for product improvement and innovation.
- Facilitate field trials and monitor new product launches.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure timely availability of high-quality products to customers through efficient distribution channels.
- Develop and implement effective pricing and costing strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, QA) to optimize operations.
Marketing & Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
- Ensure effective sales force training, motivation, and performance management.
- Build a high-performing sales organization with the necessary skills and resources.
Qualifications
- MBA is preferred, with over 25 years of experience in commercial roles such as Sales and Marketing, including proven P&L accountability.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Proven expertise in building and developing high-performing market access teams.
- Strong ability to translate long-term strategic goals into actionable and effective annual marketing plans.
- Proficient in analyzing competitor insights and delivering tactical recommendations to drive sales performance.
