Job Description
C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.
Our client is a leading global player in the animal health industry, ranking among the top 5 companies in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and pet food. They possess a strong manufacturing foundation with three GMP WHO-certified facilities in the United States, enabling global product distribution. This role, based in Toronto, ON, Canada, will report directly to the Global Executive Vice President of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth:
- Maximize market share and sales volume for AHP Cattle segment products across channels.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and market share objectives.
- Identify and capture new market opportunities.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and market development strategies aligned with the business unit's vision.
- Translate business plans into actionable sales force objectives.
- Formulate and implement plans to expand market penetration.
Sales & Channel Management:
- Develop and manage high-performing sales channels and teams across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent sales practices and performance across all locations.
Product Development & Innovation:
- Gather market intelligence, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Provide valuable insights to the product development team for product improvement and innovation.
- Facilitate field trials and monitor new product launches.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure timely availability of high-quality products to customers through efficient distribution channels.
- Develop and implement effective pricing and costing strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, QA) to optimize operations.
Marketing & Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
- Ensure effective sales force training, motivation, and performance management.
- Build a high-performing sales organization with the necessary skills and resources.
Qualifications
- Proven Leadership: 25+ years of progressive experience in commercial roles (Sales & Marketing) with P&L responsibility. MBA preferred.
- Strategic Acumen: Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, translating long-term vision into effective annual marketing plans.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Team Development: Proven ability to develop and mentor high-performing market access teams.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious sales and market share goals.
