Job Description

C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.

The SEVP of APAC is a pivotal C-Suite appointment responsible for the strategic leadership, commercial governance, and sustainable growth of our retail footprint across Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, the SEVP acts as the primary strategic advisor to Country Heads and Business Development leads, ensuring that regional nuances are harmonized with the Group’s overarching vision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • P&L Accountability: Deliver regional top-line and bottom-line targets across all retail channels, ensuring robust fiscal health across diverse markets.
  • Scalability & Best Practices: Identify local successes and institutionalize them as regional "Gold Standards" to drive operational efficiency.
  • Commercial Protection: Balance aggressive short-term revenue captures with long-term brand equity and market sustainability.

2. Operational Excellence & Market Expansion

  • Omni-Channel Architecture: Architect and oversee multi-level distribution frameworks tailored for both mature and emerging Southeast Asian markets.
  • Network Optimization: Direct the expansion of the selling network, ensuring optimal product placement and penetration in alignment with the regional selling structure.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Oversee regional receivables management and implement sophisticated cost-control measures to protect margins.

3. Regional Governance & Advisory

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the strategic bridge between Group HQ and regional business units, providing high-level advisory on market entry and operational scaling.
  • Consumer Intelligence: Lead deep-dive market analysis to pivot strategies toward evolving consumer behaviors and retail trends in the APAC confectionery sector.

4. Human Capital & Leadership

  • Succession Planning: Identify and groom "Key Talents" across the region, building a robust leadership pipeline for Country Head roles.
  • Mentorship: Foster a high-performance culture by providing executive coaching to senior sales leaders, driving them to exceed "stretch" targets through visionary leadership.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 25 years of professional experience, with a significant portion spent in global or high-growth international environments.
  • 20+ years of deep-rooted experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within confectionery or food and beverage.
  • Proven track record in Sales & Marketing strategy, brand mix development, and navigating complex distribution ecosystems.
  • Exceptional ability in cross-functional advisory, with the emotional intelligence to lead diverse, multi-cultural teams across Southeast Asia.
  • MBA or equivalent from a top-tier institution is highly preferred.
