Our client, a distinguished, multi-generational family enterprise with a legacy in the healthcare sector since 1930, is searching for a highly accomplished professional to serve as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Group Chairman. This pivotal role, based in London, UK, and involving frequent travel to the Asia Pacific region, will directly support the Chairman in overseeing strategic initiatives and operations within the Asia Pacific market. The ideal candidate will be a key liaison, coordinating closely with the local Executive Assistant teams to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisory and Business Intelligence: Serve as a strategic partner to the Group Chairman, providing high-level technical support for key organizational initiatives. This includes conducting in-depth risk analysis, offering counsel on critical business decisions, and providing insights into the Group's financial health across all levels of the business.
  • Financial and Market Analysis: Lead complex financial analysis, including sophisticated financial modeling, to inform strategic planning. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough market and business analysis, tracking industry trends, and providing competitive intelligence to support expansion and growth in the Asia Pacific market.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Act as a primary external and internal interface for the Group Chairman. This includes supporting the preparation of proposals, reports, and budgets, as well as fostering and developing critical relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
  • Project Oversight and Delegation Management: Monitor and track tasks delegated by the Group Chairman, ensuring timely and effective completion. You will be instrumental in managing project timelines and coordinating with various teams to ensure all deliverables meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • High-Level Administrative and Discretionary Support: Manage all administrative functions with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. You will be entrusted with sensitive information and required to exercise sound judgment in all tasks, ensuring all support aligns with corporate and departmental procedures.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: An MBA in Finance or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 20 years of progressive, relevant experience is essential, specifically in supporting C-suite executives within large-scale, global corporate environments. Experience within the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
  • Travel Requirements: The role requires a strong willingness and ability to travel extensively to the Asia Pacific region.
  • Core Competencies: The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills. You must be able to lead high-level discussions, including credit approval forums, and effectively engage with senior stakeholders from diverse functions and geographical locations. Your capacity to operate with a high degree of autonomy, while maintaining alignment with the Chairman’s vision, will be critical to your success.
