Since 1954, our client has built a legacy of excellence across a diversified portfolio. We are seeking an elite Strategic Advisor to support the Regional CEO in managing the financial complexities of a multi-sector family enterprise. This is a high-visibility leadership role that requires a sophisticated understanding of global markets, portfolio management, and stakeholder relations across the NYC and APAC regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial & Portfolio Management
- Act as the primary technical advisor to the Regional CEO on equity markets, stock trading, and diversified portfolio management.
- Conduct deep-dive data analysis to generate futuristic projections, risk assessments, and actionable investment recommendations.
- Oversee the financial health of regional assets, ensuring alignment with the Group’s long-term wealth preservation goals.
2. Institutional & Investor Relations
- Serve as the principal liaison between the Regional CEO and external financial bodies, including Exchange Boards, Investment Banks, Clearing Houses, and Trading Houses.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with regional investors and Tier-1 financial institutions to facilitate seamless transactions.
3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Leadership
- Represent the Regional CEO in high-level CSR initiatives, aligning philanthropic efforts with the brand’s luxury and retail identity.
- Collaborate with global business partners to integrate sustainable practices into the core business strategy.
4. Operational Excellence & Governance
- Coordinate with regional Executive Assistant teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational efficiency across the Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai offices.
- Uphold the highest standards of discretion and fiduciary duty, managing highly confidential transactions and sensitive corporate data.
Qualifications
- MBA from a premier institution, ideally with a focus on Finance, Economics, or Global Business.
- 25+ years of progressive leadership within a reputable global business house.
- Currently serving (or recently served) as a Head of Finance, CFO, or Head of Costing with a deep understanding of international trade and capital markets.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to major APAC hubs (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai).
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills; the ability to translate complex financial data into executive-level strategy.
