Job Description
C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.
Our client, a leading Canadian Animal Healthcare provider, seeks a visionary C-Suite leader for the role of Executive Vice President (EVP), Asia Pacific. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role holds full P&L accountability for the entire APAC region. The EVP will define the regional strategy, and accelerate market penetration in Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
1. P&L and Strategic Growth
- Own the APAC P&L: Drive aggressive revenue growth, optimize gross margin, and deliver sustainable profitability across the region.
- Define Regional Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year APAC growth strategy, aligning with global goals, with a primary focus on the Cattle (AHP) segment.
- Maximize Market Share: Lead high-impact strategies to significantly expand market share in existing territories and aggressively capture new markets.
- Competitive Intelligence: Direct high-level competitive analysis, translating market dynamics and competitor actions into proactive regional tactics and market access plans.
2. Commercial & Operational Leadership
- Commercial Excellence: Design and implement the regional commercial strategy, integrating sales, marketing, and channel development to maximize sales volume and penetration.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain key relationships with major customers, strategic distributors, and government/regulatory institutions to secure continued business and market access.
- Product & Pricing: Oversee sophisticated pricing, costing, and market access strategies. Act as the critical link to the Global Product Development team, providing deep market insights to drive the innovation pipeline.
- Supply Chain Integration: Coordinate with Global Supply Chain and Logistics (C&F/PSO) leadership to ensure accurate demand forecasting and reliable, efficient product availability across all customer touchpoints.
3. Organizational Development
- Executive Talent: Attract, develop, and mentor a high-performing Senior Leadership Team across the diverse APAC region.
- Organizational Design: Establish and maintain a sound organizational structure and rigorous performance management processes capable of achieving ambitious market coverage and volume goals.
- Culture: Champion a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and ethical business practice.
- People Management: Ensure all staff are appropriately developed, trained, motivated, and compensated to maximize regional results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 25 years of progressive commercial experience in the Animal Health or related Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sectors, with at least 15 years in an executive role holding full regional P&L accountability for a complex, multi-country territory (preferably APAC).
- Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or advanced relevant degree is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate multi-cultural, remote C-suite teams across the Asia Pacific region.
- Superior skills in strategic planning, negotiation, high-stakes government/external relations, and translating vision into executable commercial plans.
- Must be willing to be based full-time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with extensive regional travel.
