C-Suite Executive Search, a division of RBNC's CXO Search & Interim Services, is dedicated to recruiting top-tier professionals for positions with a minimum annual base salary of USD 250,000 at the global, regional, and local levels.

Our client is a prominent European leader in the energy and telecom industries, boasting over 60 years of established presence and innovation. We are expanding our operations with a strategic three-year project focused on market development across Southeast Asia.

We are seeking an exceptional C-Suite Business Development Project Head (BDPH) to lead a critical three-year project based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role involves spearheading business development initiatives across 11 countries in Southeast Asia. The BDPH will report directly to the Group CEO and serve as a senior business advisor, providing strategic direction and hands-on coaching to our regional business development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth: Hold full accountability for the successful launch and continuous management of sales teams and distribution channels to achieve ambitious subscriber acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Infrastructure Development: Establish and optimize the initial sales infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency and market effectiveness to meet key business objectives.
  • Regional Leadership & Coaching: Act as a senior business advisor, providing expert guidance and coaching to diverse business development teams across 11 Southeast Asian countries to consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Strategic Framework Development: Meticulously develop and implement comprehensive B2B/B2C sales strategies, compelling branding and marketing strategies, and optimized channel management frameworks.
  • Business Roadmap Creation: Construct a clear, actionable roadmap for sustainable business growth, aligning regional efforts with global objectives.
  • Pre-Launch Readiness (2026 Launch): Oversee all pre-launch details to ensure seamless market entry, guaranteeing that sales outlets are fully operational, equipped, and strategically positioned.
  • Sales Force Enablement: Ensure sales staff are thoroughly trained and prepared to meet aggressive sales targets from the project's inception.
  • Project Management & Collaboration: Drive overall project management, fostering close collaboration with local partners, distributors, and various internal departments to align resources and efforts for a successful and impactful launch.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Sales & Marketing Leadership: Possess over 30 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies and driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Energy Sector Background (Preferred): A strong background in the energy sector is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing, multi-cultural sales and marketing teams.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills, specifically in launching new sales systems within dynamic emerging markets. This includes end-to-end oversight from concept to implementation, training, and post-launch support.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex challenges, adapt to evolving market conditions, and make strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment across diverse teams.
